Summer 2008 Independent Studio "Playshop"
If you are an adult who has taken a previous
workshop at the studio then you are invited to join us this summer for an
evening "Playshop". No teaching or instruction will be given but
you'll have plenty of clay therapy time... And the garden is so beautiful in the
summer. You may be asked to take turns opening or closing the
studio. This is a 10 week session for the price of 8 with no makeup

Family Pottery Wheel
(no sessions in July and
August)
Great Fun! Family Day is for children
in first grade or older and their
adult companions. All participants will receive instruction (if needed!)
on the use of the pottery wheel and have plenty of time to practice and play in
the mud. Price includes
studio time, instruction,
clay, and first firing of up to two pieces per participant. You are welcome to return to the studio later in the
month to glaze your own pieces during Open Studio.

Beginning/Intermediate— September-May
Thursdays,
9:00-12:00 noon or 6:00-9:00pm
Create
using a mix of both hand building and wheel work.
This workshop is designed to accommodate novice students as well as those with
previous clay experience. Individualized instruction will be given for the three wheel made forms:
bowl, cylinder and plate. We
will also explore three hand building techniques: coil, slump molds and slab
construction.
The possibilities are endless!
Full
