Winter 2008

In a woodland setting we will honor our Creative Spirit through art and nature explorations!

"Why should we use our creative power?  Because there is nothing that makes people so generous, joyful, lively, bold and compassionate."  --Brenda Ueland

Weekly After-School Pottery Club   1st-8th grade    See registration form for details.

Pottery clubs meet one day a week per session.  Students practice all aspects of throwing on the wheel including centering the clay, pulling up the walls and trimming a foot.  Some hand building projects will also be included.  The last day is reserved for a pot luck banquet.  We'll enjoy a feast and set our table with our very own pots!   *Bring a snack to energize yourself for an afternoon of creativity!  *A smock or apron is recommended.

No-School/Early Release Days Pottery Workshop   1st grade and older...yes that means Middle School AND High School Too!

The studio is the place to be when school is out!   During free time you can enjoy carpet ball, tetherball and the infamous rope swing.  Or just hang with a friend in a hammock...weather permitting!  *Bring your own snack and water bottle.  *A smock or apron is recommended.

Guerrilla Art    Middle School/High School

Guerrilla art is "a fun way of sharing your vision with the world. It is a method of art making which entails leaving anonymous art pieces in public places. It can be done for a variety of reasons: to make a statement; to share your ideas; to send out good karma; or just for fun."  Join this workshop and we'll plan and scheme together!
