One Hour Workshop
Do a spin-art project on the wheel and a hand building project in clay. Cost includes materials and first firing of one piece per participant.
Cost: $12.00 per person, October-May/$18.00 per person, June-September
Two Hour Workshop
Learn to throw a pot on the potter’s wheel! Cost includes materials and first firing of one piece per participant.
Cost: $20.00 per person, October-May/$ 30.00 per person, June-September
Glaze Options
1) Pick up your fired pieces, take them back to your group to paint with acrylic paints. Not suitable for food use, but definitely cost effective!
2) Pick up your fired pieces, return them to the girls, let them return to the studio independently on one of our monthly Glazing Days.
OR
3) Glaze Workshop- Schedule a time for your group to return to the studio to glaze their work using the “dipping” method. Price includes all glazes and firing of one piece.
Cost: $8.00 per person
* A smock or apron is recommended.

The Art and Science of Clay
This six week class is especially designed for home school students from ages 5-17.
The class includes:
• Instruction in both hand building techniques and working on the potter’s wheel
• Opportunity to hold and study ceramic objects from around the world
• A brief study of the origin and history of clay and kiln firing shared through age appropriate books and video
• A lesson in measuring and mixing a glaze from powdered metals and rocks
• A list of recommended books for further reading

Adults, Create Your Own Party/Workshop
(6 person minimum)
Get together with a group of six to ten friends and schedule your own private party or workshop.
Pottery Wheel
You too can learn to throw a pot on the potter’s wheel! Cost includes firing and glazing of two pieces per participant. Each guest receives a free coupon for glazing.

Hand Building in Clay
You’ll love this impressionable clay experience. Hand building is very open ended with lots of room for success. You can pick your own project or let the studio design one for you. Each guest receives a free coupon for glazing.

“Use of the Grounds” Option

The Garden is yours! You bring the picnic, treats, drinks and eating utensils. You will have full use of the Garden Pavilion, rope swing, carpet ball, hammocks and fire pit.
Cost: $50.00 for first hour, $20.00/hr. additional
